NGD-Standard Plus Top Pro

I just purchased an Epi Standard Plus Top Pro in Herritage Cherry Sunburst and she's a beauty both visually and sonically! The PTP is probably my tenth or eleventh Epi and my sixth Paul over the years. The quality of Epiphones seem to constantly grow as the years pass. There is nothing about this guitar that isn't amazing especially for the price! The fit and finish are excellent. If you haven't picked one up yet, you're seriously missing out.

The Probuckers are awesome! Articulate. Notes ring out. Sound great clean and snarl and bite on command. Sustain for days. I'd never personally opt for coild tapping, I'm into the bucker bite, but it's there. Nice touch Epi. The Slim-taper D neck profile is truly bad ***.

A Tribute is next on my list of must have Epiphones.

I WANT TO SEE THE SAME EFFORT IN FINISHES AND ELECTRONICS IN AN EXPLORER AND FLYING V EPIPHONE!

Congrats! [thumbup] Please send pics - a Plustop for sure is worth looking at it.

Your decision about the Tribute is absolutely correct in my opinion. Sometimes certain finishes are unavailable - they can't produce as many as people would want to buy I guess.

A man after my own heart. Love Epi's, especially LP's. Like you, I think they keep getting better. I'd take a current production Chinese over an old Korean any day. Much more consistent now.
