Coz52
Let what go? Its a well known fact that Korean Epiphones (especially Samick) had lots of inconsistencies with tuner and control knob alignment. Its one of the identifying factors of many Korean Epiphone models. Why did you even post that response? You realize the post you quoted was 5 months old, right?
mmad dog
Jack: I have the same turquise casino, made at Peerless in Korea, only mine is a 2004 if I remember correctly. As for as Korean vs. China ... this current Peerless made casino is far and away the best one I've picked up. Owned another Peerless made casino for years, tried many MIC examples. Maybe just luck of the draw, maybe not. I have owned numerous MIK guitars, various factories. The best of them came from Peerless and Samick. It's no scientific survey, but that has been my experience. MD

bobouz
Do you mean a current Peerless Songbird ?? Doubtful. Pretty sure he's referring to 'his' current instrument, the Peerless Casino. But yes, Peerless does continue to make the same basic instrument (Songbird) under their own name.
