vangoghsear Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 This is my second Guitar painting project. I feel I did this one a bit better technically. I started off using a synthetic steel wool pad which knocked down the high gloss finish so the paint would adhere better. The actual paint process was about the same, but for the final finish this time I used a Minwax hand applied wax/polish, which worked out very well. The first one I used acrylic matte finish that I brushed on, it's okay, but the hand rubbed finish looks nicer. Here it is: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
