Sitedrifter
It's been 5 days since I dropped off my SWD for a bone nut and saddle installation at my local 5*. While I could easily handle replacing the saddle myself (see my post about my J-200) I do not have the tools for shaping and grooving a nut. With the great price my 5* gave me it was a no brainer to let them do it. Now I hope it is done today because I really miss that guitar! If I like the outcome I will have the nut on the J200 done by them as well. If all goes well with the upgrade, I will post some pictures but first, I need my guitar. Sitedrifter
Got the call last night. Nut and saddle are done, neck held position all day (upgraded to 13s). I will pick it up sometime today. I am very excited to see the work and play my guitar!
MissouriPicker
Let's hear it and see it. I'm one of those who thinks bone brings a warmer tone to a guitar. .............. Glad you got it back home.
Sitedrifter
Got my SWD back today. Great job on the NUT and saddle. Intonation is very good. I am taking my J200 in for the same work this weekend!
