A Hobart file tip cleaner (770084) showed up today and a few moments with the right sized file on the nut got the G, B and high E strings down just enough for the guitar to play perfectly. It was around $7 from Amazon and was worth every penny. I actually got a callous slice from one of the strings being up higher than it was supposed to be but not any more.
