Request help about Les Paul necks profile

Mmh, the Epiphone Les Paul Tribute 1960 has a 60ies D-profile? Well, I see no neck difference between my Tribute 1960 and my Gibson Signature T.

Well, then I higly recommend Rico to try the SigT .... I absolutely love it. 57 Classic pickups, a great neck and playability, beautiful top, low price. I would buy it again without hesitation, if I wouldn't already have it.

Hey Rico, watch this:

It's not mentioned on the article page but can be found here:

Don't know the Signature T's neck though. Perhaps it has a D profile neck without publishing this feature as specified like on the product page of the Epi Tribute LP? I just can say the Epi Tribute LP's neck profile is clearly different from the 60's Slim Taper necks on seven Gibson guitars of mine. Apart from some comments appearing from time to time here, I found them all to be very close to each other and within narrow tolerances, despite of being made during forty years.

Wait ... let's not confuse the Epi LP Tribute Plus with the Tribute 1960 ... that are different models. I have the Tribute 1960 from 2011. But you might be right, all those 60 necks are very similar.

My talk was on the Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute Plus Outfit model which is still in production and severely rose in price - from 449 EUR to 629 EUR within less than a year at Thomann. [scared]

Don't know the previously made model you mentioned in person.

I have this one in Trans Black:

Bought it in 2011, but was released in 2010, when I remember that correctly.

According to this page

http://www.epiphonewiki.com/index.php/Les_Paul_Tribute_%26_Anniversary_Models

there has been the choice of 1960's SlimTaper-D or Asymmetrical profile.

Yeah, that's it, though mine has the black speed knobs like the Plus model.

Fact is, it has the Slim Taper D profile, which is very similar to my SigT.

Conclusion: Rico should definitely try out the SigT. BTW, Music Store has the most unique SigT still in stock for 1300€. It's the white one with gold hardware. You need to see that for real, because no photo can judge it's beauty. The top is a white sunburst, that means it is transparent white in the center and solid white at the edges as are the sides of the body and the back. I saw it once in a shop, after I already bought the wine red one.
