Gibson SG Traditional 2014 EB, mahogany body, mahogany neck (50s Profile), rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, 62.8cm scale, 2 x 57 Classic humbucker, 2x volume and 2x tone control, Tone Pro Kluson...

A shame it does not have the same beveling as the standard

Perhaps they leave more wood to the body since the fatter 50's neck profile promotes neck heaviness?

Are the horns still tapered, at least?! I don't understand them building different

body spec's, after returning to the original spec's, FINALLY! ??? Unless it's a specific era model

they should standardize, the beveling and horn tapering to the early '60's (Original) version.

IMHO!! LOL

They did change the bevel on the lower horn, slightly, in about '66??, or thereabouts, when they went to

the "Batwing" pickguard. BUT, the other bevels were still quite decent, and the horns were still

tapered, at that point.
