They do make a standard in the gold top finish and it comes in either a 50s neck or 60s neck. The custom shop makes a 1956 Goldtop reissue with P90 pickups, and a 57 with original style hummbuckers. I am not sure if there are any special editions that were put out by the various guitar retailers. The Les Paul Standard in the Gold top finish sells at Musicians Friend for 2329 Us. Malaka, Check gibsoncustom.com or musciansfriend.com to see what gold tops you can get. I think there's a total of thee; R4, R6 & R7. Gold top VOS guitars are pretty sweet. What do you have now?
