But that may just be the prototype made for Felix. Based on what I have been able to sort out, Felix was in a hurry as he needed the guitar for a pivotal scene in the Addams Family in which Cousin Itt serenades Contessa in the hopes of winning her back. The show, of course, went on to earn Felix both an Emmy & Grammy nomination. The guitar, long believed to have been lost, went on to become part of musical history.
