pocaloc
I was on the internet last night studying Gibson 330's and Elitist Casino's when I happened upon the Epiphone Elitist "1965" Casino vintage outfit limited edition. Looks like from other stuff I found on the internet that it was released in October or November of 2014. What I noticed was this Made in Japan Elitist Casino was nitrocellulose finished, a 3 ply rather than 5 ply, along with what appeared to be other electronics upgrades. It's my understanding that the Elitist Casino is usually poly and 5 ply. Does anyone know about these or where they might be for sale, or what they cost? Thanks -- Matt

Yes, unfortunately this new Casino appears to follow the same path as the recently released vintage-speced Riviera and Texan. They look like great guitars, but with limited availability. Note that this Casino has the two hole TRC as opposed to the Elitist TRC, and original style tuners, similar to the first limited-run Lennon Casino (Terada-Japan body, assembled in USA).
