xkimo
Is it me or does Gibson believe we all prefer "Gold " over the vintage " Pearloid " heads.. It seem that the vast majority of Gibson product today arrives with the Gold knobbies.. I happen to like the Old School Pearl.. Certainly this is aesthetic, without effect musically ; but make mine Pearl will ya please ? Another cyclical phase is it ? X
62burst
Not just you. Many would prefer to not have the gold. Or even the electronics. Maybe Gibson has found that the "jewelry" sells the guitar, and that the guitarist can change that on their own if they wish, or pay more to have one "without"; i.e., the True Vintage series. How coincidental. Just got my Sweetwater "Summer " catalog on way home...Now it appears that on the majority of 2015 Gibbys' ; they' re going back to Pearloids predominately... Go figure. x
