1942-'45 banner Gibson J-45, in beautiful condition. The real McCoy. Tuned down to an open tuning.

 

Note that he has his strap attached at the peghead. No screw into the body. That's the way I've always attached a strap.

 

I like the quarter-sawn English oak of that piano case, too. And the girl playing it.

You're right. I just asked him on the comments section and he thinks it's a '43.
