I think theres one guitar show in Birmingham and that's about the only one I know of... If I had money and time id fly over for that... Oh well Fans will get a rare opportunity to pick up and play some of Les Paul’s own personal guitars at the All Things That Rock Festival in Philadelphia on October 3 and 4. One of the largest collections of Les’s personal items will be at the show, including his 1935 Gibson L5 and his Jimmy Page prototype. The Gibson Tour Bus rolling museum will also be rolling in. You can virtually follow the bus around via its official Twitter account. The event will also be swimming in rock stars for Q&A panels, meet-and-greets and autographs, including Ace Frehley, Guns N’ Roses legend Steven Adler, Quiet Riot’s Frankie Banali, ELP’s Carl Palmer, Lita Ford, original E Street Band drummer Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez and Starz guitarist Richie Ranno. And memorabilia fans will get the chance to meet KISS album cover artist Ken Kelly. The event takes place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks.
