Thierry Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hi, I bought a wonderful LP Standard Faded (Cherry sunburst) last summer and I would like to get some pickups cover, so I bought 2 gibson covers for humbucker bridge an neck position, and I was surprised to see that only the second one fit. The cover for the bridge pickup is much too big for the pickup size. So where do you think I could find a good one ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thundergod Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hey man welcome to the forum, yes, you have to buy 2 neck position covers for BB pros... they are the same size! I read this first on a thread by another member (guitarjunkie) that installed covers on his beautiful faded, he ordered neck/bridge covers but the bridge cover wouldnt fit so he had it exchanged for another neck cover. I ordered a set of gibson stuff to mod mine (I contacted him and asked all questions first as I remembered his post), hope those things arive soon... By the way, got any pics of that beauty? Neck pickup size: 66mm (which would be ... 2 inches and 38,5/64 inch) pole spacing 5mm (which would be 12/64 inch) Bridge pickup (size) 66mm ( size: 66mm (which would be ... 2 inches and 38,5/64 inch) pole spacing 5mm (which would be 12/64 inch) So yes, they are the same...
