PelhamBlueFire
Hi Guys, This is my new baby, Gibson Les Paul VOS R8 - 2012 And she sound awesome ! \:D/ Cool guitar! Have fun with your new acquisition. One question: how is the neck? I would imagine quite "meaty." I have a ES-335 that is based on a '58, and that one has a great fat neck on it. PelhamBlueFire
The Neck is meaty and fat, actually it's good for me.. i love to feel the guitar and grab it good.. ;) Same here! Which is why I was really excited about the '58 ES-335. I always hated how the 2015 regular 335 guitars had extremely skinny necks. There was nothing there, man. Just a big gap between the hand and the guitar neck. And I don't have big hands to begin with. Your guitar has Custombuckers, right? Great sounding pick-ups. Nice growl when overdriven. What kind of music do you play?
notsob
What a Beauty. I'm wanting to get a 58 to round out my collection I have a 57 Gold Top and a 59 Lemon Burst.
Guest Farnsbarns
Very pretty. My R8 neck is thinner than Pippy's R9 neck. They are rather changeable. Do you know if your 2012 has the laminated fret board?
PelhamBlueFire
Just a curious question, but what kind of money would a real '58 Les Paul bring today?

WoW, that's some good money. Would be great if I found one under the bed. Last time I checked, there was only my EDS-1275 :P
