harmonicchaos
this really isn't lp related but there isn't a general forum (ahem gibson). i just noticed that almost all of the guitars i'd like to have (but sadly cannot afford) are being discontinued or are limited editions: dg335, sg classic, lp vintage mahogany, lp faded std, songwriter special, the firebird... i love my lp vm but the higher fret access (or lack of), and the dentable wood are getting to me a little. idk if i would actually be able to sell it but i'm pondering trading it in for a sg classic. do any of you guys have the classic? would you be able to put on the smaller pickguard on it? if i got the sg i'd most likely refinish it in white, try to put on a new pickguard, and maybe put on gold hardware. what do you guys think? pros cons and opinions are appreciated! MikeRom
The SG is a fine guitar for sure but if you dig the LP sound check out some DC's
DaddyO
I have a classic and it is without a doubt a monster...... I love it. The payability on mine is the best i've had on any guitar and i really got lucky that way cause i got it off evilbay...............
