rossington88
A Friend of mine has one of three Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauties" with only TWO pickups and NO Bigsby from the year 1960. One has been confirmed as destroyed ;) . Gibson has confirmed this as one of the two survivors and actually offered to purchase the guitar, complete with an exact Tom Murphy replica as a free add in, at an undisclosed price. My friend of course declined. The question here is: WHO HAS THE OTHER GUITAR? Just a curiousity thing. My pal has wondered this for the past 25 years and would love an answer, if possible. I do not have any pictures to post on here, for anti-theft purposes . But a call to Gibson can confirm this to be legit.

jnastynebr
I need to see this thing. I would suggest that your friend stores this in a secure "guitar friendly" climate controlled facility if he is concerned about theft. :)
