sebastian76
Hi there, I just noticed that my guitar sounds pretty low when plugged (vox vt15 to the max). As everyb0dy knows, this guitar brings a stacked mini-humbucker p100 pickup... there is any chance to raise the volume if I turn up pickup's pole screws? thanks a lot in advance and any advice is welcome sebastian
Cougar
Yeah, usually the treble side is lower and the bass side is higher. I don't know that it makes a big difference in volume though...

Cougar
is there any chnce to rise this kind of pickups to increase the volume? Well, try it. The way I get more volume out of the EJ is to turn the wattage dial from 15 up to 30. Oddly this tends to feedback (or buzz anyway). The volume and buzz is very sensitive to the bass EQ setting. I don't know if that is just my guitar or typical for EJs....Hopefully somebody who knows what they're talking about will stop by and comment.... Red 333
What kind of strings are you using? The stacked humbucker is a magnetic pickup, so you need to use strings that will make it responsive to them. Red
