Murph
My wife's mother has been sent home for hospice, so my wife has gone to Louisiana to be with her. These things can drag on. The iCloud backup happens when the phone is charging with wifi. She pays .99 a month for the 50 gig deal (the first 5 is free). There is no wifi at the mothers house and I thought I had read that an iCloud account that was dormant for 30 days could be deleted? This could easily exceed 30/60/90 days. As long as the bill (automatic on a credit card) is being paid surely the data will be stored, correct? This is a hard enough time for her, I'd just hate to think she could lose pictures and stuff in the event her phone failed after 30 days and there was no backup. Thanks. Dub-T-123
Hey Murph. I think you have a bit of a mixup. If you delete a photo or video, it will remain in your “recently deleted” folder for a period of 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted. I think that is the 30 day period you are thinking of. It will not delete your whole account after 30 days
