Hi Newbie here; I just sold my Tribute (only lost £50 on it) and bought a new 2018 HP, I think it's an HP 4 but I'm not sure (and what does the "4" mean anyway) I'm very pleased with it, but as far as I can tell, the bridge tone push pull doesn't do anything; also, the case is faulty, but they've ordered a new one for me..... Like I said, I'm delighted with it, I just put it away to contact you lot.....

So hi from a newbie :)

Never heard of 4. Thought were just HPs.

I figured it out; the first ones had a "bypass" on the bridge push pull, later they changed to "inner coils to outer coils" when in split or tap mode..... Mine does work (if it's in a position where the coils are split or tapped)

I got it from Reidy's (Blackburn)I'd recommend them.

If anyone wants to know, I think I've figured it out.....

the 2018 SG has two push pulls and is called an HP2,

the Les Paul has four push pulls and is called an HP4
