Bryden Posted April 6, 2019 Share Posted April 6, 2019 Hi, I just happened across this forum while trying to learn a little about the history of the 'Dove' . I have in particular a beautiful Dove Custom from late '82 in cherry sunburst and this beautiful guitar has sparked my enquiring brain to learn a little of the history of the marque. I also play a Taylor 814CE through a Fender Acoustic SFX amp. I have played off and on since teaching myself while embarked on a career in the Merchant Navy (Merchant Marine) in 1980 for a few years. I ended up in a shoreside career here in Europe doing something completely different until I retired early last year. I returned to playing again a couple of years ago after recovering from a smashed up left hand. The hand is not as nimble or as strong as it was but I enjoying pushing it and gradually getting back into the groove.
