If so are they just the same as the old ones or is their a difference" Jim I haven’t yet but I’m tempted to spring for a set or two. Strings I will not buy again, Ernie Ball Slinky’s 9.5 gauge. I'm still looking for an accurate replacement for my personal dwindling stock of 740XL nickel plated steel strings Gibson used to manufacture on they're own machines.
