Xuestor
My bridge volume is crackling and popping when I turn it, similar to when the pots are corroded, But these are brand new and recently installed! What can be the issue here? I've double-checked every solderjoint, and it's grounded fine on the casing of the pot, and the hot wire is soldered well too. Thanks! sjtalon
hur mår du Even though they are "new" you have nothing to lose to spray some contact cleaner in and spin them around some. Could just be some junk in there from manufacture or who knows what.
Shaker
You should be able to fix the problem with a burst of contact cleaner spray onto/into the volume pot.
guitar_randy
You should be able to fix the problem with a burst of contact cleaner spray onto/into the volume pot. Its worth a try.I had that happening on an old Ibanez from mid 80's . Just a drop of it and work the knob back and forth and it 's been good as new ever since. Sure wouldn't hurt to try it
