slinky005
I have a Gary Moore model. The treble pickup cuts outoften when switching to that pickup. Sometimes if I toggle up and down a few times, it will temporarily solve the problem. Do I need to replace the toggle or just clean? I'm not a techie and pretty much stay away from the innards of my guits so please warn of what "not" to do.
Rocky4
I have the exact same problem with my 04 Faded Special. I've thought about replacing the switch, but I wonder if I just have a cold solder joint.
MikeRom
If you handy in that way it's an easy thing to check for wiring issues. If it's brand new cart it on over to an authorized dealer so they can have a look-see.

Tenthmed
I had the same problem with my LP Studio, except it was the neck pickup that cut out. I replaced the switch. Job done.
Slogold
Try contact cleaner first or vacuum the toggle switch cavity.
MikeRom
Would you recommend replacing the switch? Not without more information. Plus I don't know what has been tried or what options he has for getting it repaired.
