Oldschoolandy
So, I love my new 2021 J-45 Rosewood.. including all the “bling”.. EXCEPT the gold tuners. Should I just replace them with Gibson nickel ones (same model, different color)? or should I look into other kinds of tuners? - Gibson “vintage look” tuners? - more expensive locking tuners from another make? … I’d prefer to keep the guitar looking “stock” as much as possible. Oldschoolandy
Oh, and I’d also prefer to not drill into the headstock at all, so that I could have the option to “switch back” with no damage done…
Sgt. Pepper
I have always hated gold hardware too. Its your guitar and if you don't like the gold, get chrome or nickel and replace them. Edited January 11, 2022 by Sgt. Pepper
