Billwillskates
Well, I forgot this was stored away from my late grandfather. The only markings are the numbers on the back of the head. Any insight or information is graciously welcomed. Thanks for your time.
sparquelito
Good morning, Bill. By the features and stamped serial number, that's a 1968 Gibson B-15. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and there were 12,000 of them made between 1967 and 1971. Worth approximately 500 bucks in that condition. Maybe seven fifty to a serious collector. A great guitar! I hope it stays in the family. 🙂
Sgt. Pepper
Take it to a luthier, and get some new tuners, and have him/her/it (depending on how one identifies), and get it set up and tuned up, and you got a killer old family heirloom. Some strings too. Edited September 15, 2022 by Sgt. Pepper
