pippy Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 The R9 has a fancy flame-maple top, ABR-1 bridge with stop-bar tail piece (whereas the '54 just has the McCarty bridge) and PAF-style pups. '59 & '60 cost the most. kingbee, they're all the same guitar with minor differences. Such as finish, neck thickness, top & weight of each individual guitar.
