mclkar
Haven't been on the site for awhile. I own a 1969 hummingbird 12 string, a 1974 hummingbird 6 string. An 84 J45 standard. A 12 string songwriter. And just recently a faded 50,s j45. Among quite a few guilds, and Collings. My question is has anyone else played a faded 50,s j45?I was pretty skeptical of changes to the J45.But after playing it,I'm of the opinion that it is a bit better sounding than my j45 standard. Its definately lighter.Seems to have longer sustain, and better resonance. I'll attribute that to a lighter finishing process. Any other thoughts?
merciful-evans
I have not. I would like to. You should have better luck over in the Gibson Acoustic area. Gibson USA is Nashville (electric) guitars.
E-minor7
I have a 1959 and a 1953 - they are as different as one can imagine. The 1950 switched for the 53er was something third. .
