It quickly reminded me why I love guitar and why I love Gibsons. The tone just took me away. I feel very lucky just to play such a wonderful instrument. I was learning a song called Fish Camp Woman by Unknown Hinson on it last week. There was no gain, no effects, just what the guitar could do in the high input setting. Wow... I had it on the Low Input last night while I was just playing some ad lib jazzy stuff - very peaceful stuff in the evening before bed. It tends to stop it breaking up so early. Earlier I had a 335 into the High Input when I did into some Stones stuff - Love In Vain; Stray Cat Blues. Extraordinary. I'm going to get a VOX Tonelab Le for those late night bedroom sessions as well as more fun with my other amp. That GA-5 is great. Got to go.
