ShredAstaire
Saw that Budgie thread and it got me thinking about this band - Captain Beyond! I heard about both bands at the same time but I seem to listen to Captain Beyond more often. Their first album (Self titled) is a frggin masterpiece but their next 2 albums come up short in comparison. Here's a clip of them rocking out live in 1972: (Edit by Mod, click on symbol that has BB on it.) (I know they are not playing Gibsons but damn they rock!) Discuss. surfpup
I dig Captain Beyond a lot. In fact most of my favorite music seems to come from between 68 and 74. There were so many great bands that were heavy and bluesy and groovy all at the same time. Good stuff! Here is another from Captain Beyond..
