eightiesbaby80
Man, oh man! Mick and the Stones just keep rolling out more good times! They’re releasing a 40th anniversary deluxe box set! “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out!” A literal box of Stones memorabilia! It has LP’s, cd’s, a collector’s book, and a signed poster!? And if that’s not enough, it also comes with a DVD with their live performances from Madisen Square Garden! I remember trying to get tickets to those shows! My high school sweet heart back then ditched me and went her friends that night. I had to hear about the concert all that next day and week. It comes out Tuesday, November 3rd. I’m even getting my kids excited about it even though the Stones have been making music almost twice as long as my youngest has been on this earth! Does anyone else think this is amazing!? http://bit.ly/RSboxset
grampa
40th anniversary? That would mean they started in '69. That doesn't add up. The Stones were around in '62.

surfpup
I'm guessing it's the 40th anniversay of the "Get Your Ya Yas Out" album which was, I believe, released in '69.
grampa
Brian Jones died in '69 so maybe it's the 40th anniversary of the "new" Stones.
