Gary1981
I have one of these guitars, had it for years actually and I've decided to sell it on. I'm not sure how much they're worth now though, I did some searching and I found a link to this website. Apparently there was an article (it's gone now) saying that although they weren't expensive to buy when they were first made, they've gone up in value quite a bit. Can anyone confirm this for me? Mines is a black and white crackle finish and still in mint condition. I did change the bridge pick up for a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck edition though. Any information is very much appreciated
Gary1981
I haven't gotten round to taking pictures of mine yet, but I assume you're only asking so you're able to identify which guitar I'm talking about, as opposed to wanting to assess its condition? I found this link to a gallery with a guitar the same as mine. The only difference is I changed the bridge pick up on mine. http://www.guitar-museum.com/guitar-6820-Epiphone-Nuclear-extreme-les-paul-guitar
pohatu771
I hate when people do this, but I have to recommend you go to the Epiphone forum. The people will know more about it there. That said, I found one on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-Nuclear-Extreme-Les-Paul-W-HS-Case_W0QQitemZ250401151893QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item3a4d125b95

That's actually an Epi Basher Series LP, and even though they are now considered rare, they are STILL Epi guitars, and they really aren't worth very much. If I'm not mistaken, they retailed for around $300-$400, but you probably won't get anything close to that for a used one. Now, if it had an Epi LP-style HS, then it would worth something, but IMHO those [basher] headstocks are UGLY!

Since they changed to the new (crappy web site; IMO) they list all the Epiphone LP’s too on the Gibson.com site, so one assumes this is the only forum for all Les Paul’s If a person had gone to Epiphone.com then they would have hit the Epi form not Gibson’s. http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=forum
