PickitPaul
Hummingbird (mahogany) or J-45 (rosewood) Deeper tone / Gibson low end Are all Gibson flattops built with an arch in the top?
Modac
If you're looking for deep tone, maybe think about a Martin or Santa Cruz rosewood body. As far as I know, all Gibsons, (and most all flat tops) are actually ached, top and back.
Rambler
Hummingbird (mahogany) or J-45 (rosewood)- Deeper tone / low end . Tough call. The Bird's boxy shape favors the low end, so they tend to be dark for hog box, but still woody. Oth, the Rose 45's waisted body balances out the bass, but still tends to be thick and metallic. Have you considered an Advanced Jumbo? Trumps either for low end but has more treble cut than either.
