Well, the wiring would largely depend on what feature you are trying to install on your Les Paul. With a push-pull, when you pull it out, it usually is for something, like series wiring, or coil tapping or turning on a piezo. Stuff like that. It will not have a use, if you just rewire pots without having a second function to install. You can replace anypot with a push pull I believe.
