Red 333
A great, new three-part interview with Ren Ferguson. He decribes how he learned lutherie, how he came to work for Gibson, and the history of Gibson Acoustic in Montana. Great stuff from Sweetwater! From Sweetwater: "Recently, legendary Gibson master luthier Ren Ferguson spent time at Sweetwater's headquarters and was gracious enough to talk at length on camera about his life. In this first part of his fascinating three-part interview, Ren talks about his years before joining Gibson, including his time in the Navy building banjos on a repair ship, and as a gun-fitter for Sharps rifles." From Sweetwater: "In part two of his Sweetwater interview, legendary master luthier Ren Ferguson talks about going to work for Gibson more than 20 years ago, and the unique history of his custom guitar factory in Montana." From Sweetwater: "In this final segment of his Sweetwater interview, legendary master luthier Ren Ferguson tells the story of one of his finest accomplishments, the making of the Black Pearl Guitar, now owned by Johnny Depp." Red
