Went to lighter gauge strings, shaved .050" off the saddle and "some" off the nut... a TOTALLY different guitar! I'll compare it to the Dove and see which plays better. I was concerned that I'd shave too much off the saddle... and I'd be as nervous as a whore in church to shave the nut... Tony really has good hands. That's probably due to it being 30+ years old, and the DIF is only 7 years. However, now that the DIF is set up, it'll get a LOT more playing time!! There is no sound like the SJ-200. My next guitar might be a Hummingbird KOA, (if I don't get arrested for possessing one!), but then I'll be on the lookout for M-R GIBS, JR.!!
