es-335 bigsby question

I'm gonna guess the B-3, since it screws on at the strap pin and lays across the top.

The B-7 has screws that bolt it to the top behind the bridge, I don't know if a 335 center block extends that far.

I recommend calling Gibson Customer Service at (800) 444-2766, they're there 24/7.

Either Bigsby will work with the factory bridge, but you might look for a roller bridge to replace it.

I know nothing about the Vibramate.

Here's a couple that I have, they came on the guitars from the factory.

Ive seen a 335 with a Vibramate-mounted Bigsby before.

Because of the arched top, the tail end of the Bigsby has a little gap between in and the top. Not really a big deal.

You can use the original bridge but, like Neo said, you may want to change it to a roller bridge to help with tuning stability.

So you have to weigh out your options. The vibramate Bigsby mounts straight into the existing stopbar holes and is reversable. The b-3 will require you to drill holes and will leave gaping holes where the stopbar used to be.
