mjg
Do you feel that the J-45 or J-45R is better for solo vocal accompanyment and small accoustic ensemble? Plugged direct to PA. 90% strumming and some soft fingerstyle. Acoustic rock to quiet ballads. Have a tenor voice. Opinions please...thanks. guitarstrummer
Welcome to the forum. I think either would work. Also, for questions such as this, you might want to post over on the Acoustic Forum. You might get more responses.
LPDEN
I have seen a good deal of people (those also who actually play for live audiences and have recorded in the studio) say that Rosewood and Spruce compliment their Vocals better compared to Mahogany and Spruce. Personally, either works for me, but I actually prefer Maple back and sides in a Jumbo the best.
