mikeoso
OK, the poor thing had been rode hard and put up wet before I got it. It had top cracks, sinkage, loose braces, etc etc. (also an interesting suntan line) I had my luthier tighten up everything and put in a Bridge Doctor...that got it solid again. I pulled the rosewood adjustable saddle and made me a new one from a 1/4x1/2x5 Corian blank. Since I like a lot of separation on the bass pairs and have fat fingers, I slotted the saddle. Meanwhile, one of those grungy parrots in the shelter got at it and started chewing on the soundhole...so I seized the opportunity and finished the work, enlarging the soundhole out to the first rosette ring. Here's how it came out sounds a lot more open and rich now, with more mids and sustain. also plays a lot easier
