pohatu771 Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 The original Joan Jett Melody Maker lists for $999 and sells for $749. This one will probably sell for about $1100. That's for black finish and custom inlays. That might be a bit much. I could see it being added for the same price as a variation of the original signature, not a $400 premium for inlays. Personally, I'd like to see the double-cut Melody Maker (which they obviously have the equipment to make) reintroduced as a standard model with a full gloss finish. I love my single-cut, worn Melody Maker, but I'd like something a little flashier. They can even put humbuckers or minis or P-90s in it, if they don't want to do the Melody Maker single-coils.
