Multimeter for Biasing

No you only need the one. I had to buy 2 different probes. My VM Marshall has

different tubes then the older ones. What are you Biasing they have vids on the site that

walk you right through and I called and asked questions while I was

doing. They were glad to help.

We have a Vintage Hiwatt Custom 50 and a Sovtek Mig 60 that both run EL34's....and my son is having a custom amp made by Lancaster Amplification that will run KT66's. I just want to learn to do it myself to save paying a tech...and give us the ability to try different tubes when we want, etc.

 

Do you only need to take the readings from one socket or do you have to go back and forth and adjust on an average of the two?

You just have to use one socket. I here what you saying you'll save a mint

on doing it youself. I save a ton on it I have 4 tube amps. From what

I understand from Eurotubes is that Biasing correctly gives you more life

out of the tubes. Good luck
