The back & sides are made of rare Chatke Kok, AAA grade Sitka spruce top with maple binding on front & back, Neck is 5 piece Honduran mahogany(25.4 scale length) with Katalox fingerboard & bridge...MOP inlays on fingerboard, torch inlay & Gibson emblem on headstock with Gibson Deluxe tulip tuners Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What typical tonewood could you compare it to? it is similar to the tone of mohogany, but a bit brighter. the tone on this girl is angelic. honestly one of the nicest sounding boxes i have ever strummed. its so full the lows are deep the highs are crisp and the mids are where they should be . i plan on getting a tusq nut and saddle , for her shortly.
