heymisterk
Hi All, I am looking at purchasing an Orange "Tiny Terror" 15W combo amp. What I can't nail down is where these amps are now made, or even where they've been made recently. I certainly know that they originated in England, but I have heard know they are made all over the place now: England, U.S., Korea, and now China. I really want to avoid buying my guitar stuff from China, Class A or not. Does anybody know more about this? Thanks!
stevef
This will deifinately NOT help. 40th anniversary head says Made in England.. Dual Terror head says Made in R.O.C. Lark Street is a "dealer" .. http://www.larkstreetmusic.com/index.html Give 'em a call, usually nice folks..
heymisterk
That actually does help somewhat. I am pretty sure the Tiny Terror combo won't be made in the UK or US...
lespaul339
The tiny terror is made in china. It's still a pretty good little amp though.

They are pretty damned expensive though for an amp made in China! But it really would fit what I need.
jrsdws
The early model TT's were made in Korea and most claim they are of better quality than the current ones made in China. There is also a hand wired model made in England at Orange...but you'll really pay for that one.
jameslucascalvert
I researched them a year ago, and they were made in Korea. I thought the same thing, FAR too expensive. I only buy American made guitars, and when it comes to amps, they have to be made in the UK or the US. Rules I live by.
sgbass
I agree with the post about American made guitars, but amps are from everywhere. My Marshall; Vietnam, Fender; Indonesia, Ampeg; China, Etc.
