teejayh
Hi all, I have a Gibson Antique Cherry 2006 ES-335 Block Inlay guitar. I can't find my paperwork right now and was wondering if anyone knows what pickups are in this? I just can't remember for the life of me if they are 57's or Burstbusters. Does anyone know for sure which P/u's are in this guitar? Thanks!
NeoConMan
Website says 57 Classics. http://www.gibsoncustom.com/flash/products/es/335Block/63ES335Block.html
lkmuller
The newer block inlays have burstbucker pros. Mine (bought in 07) has the 57 classics. Confirmed this by calling Gibson Customer service and giving them my serial number.
teejayh
Hey Dave, Its not a Historic Reissue though (at least I dont think it is). Would a Serial # help? Thanks, TJ
NeoConMan
Tim? Is that you? :-) Well, I dunno about the serial number thing. Call Gibson at 1-800-444-2766. They should be able to line you out. I called them the other day, now they ask for your name and phone number when they answer. Still lotsa help though. I bought my 335 6 years ago, I LOVE it. I wish I had bought one 20 years ago, I can't believe I went so long without it. Incredible guitars. Mine has 57 Classics. Are you gonna let me keep this SG Classic? Hope all is cool with the missus..... Be cool! Dave
