Dub-T-123 Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 To get a "real" classic rock tone, you're going to need a tube amp. Always work with what you have though. Try to find a nice medium gain tone with a little boost for leads. When I think of a classic rock tone, I think of a big open chord with all the notes ringing out but still with some crunch.
