Stupify
Recently purchased a Les Paul Special Double Cutaway w/ P-90 pickups and was looking to spice it up a little bit. I already changed out the switch tip and knobs, and want to put a Black/White/Black pickguard on there. I actually ordered one, but once it came in, I realized that it is shaped nothing like the one currently on there. I'd prefer not to make any permanent modifications (drilling or filling of screw holes). Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? Thanks in advance. Blackie
Do a search for Gibson pickguards, there are a lot of sites.

pohatu771
The pickguard shape has changed a bit on Les Paul Specials... the Double-cut had a different pickguard than the single-cut model, and the position of the neck pickup has changed over the years, so the space between the pickup and fretboard has changed. Your best option is tracing the pickguard you have and having a copy made.
