clayville
This question gets asked wistfully by loving 356 owners hoping for more siblings out in the world from time to time. And now with all the current production small-bodied cousins up on the site (CS-336, ES-339, ES-359, the Johnny A...) paranoia is starting to set in. Perhaps Gibson could sell a few more if they let folks know they make them? Just sayin'...
eljay
well, clayville, perhaps this is the motivation you need to buy your "dream" 356 while you can. [good natured kidding--i love my 336 probably the same way you love your 356!]
jamman
+1 clayville , I would also like to see a page on the Gibson web-site. I hope Gibson is listening.
RayG
+1 again! When I spoke to Gibson this time last year, I was told any day now.... Regards-------
dodgytoo
Yeah I asked this question last year as well but who knows why it hasn't been acted on. Trying to keep them a secret possibly
greglawrence
I called Gibson a few years ago and asked them about how many CS-356's were produced, what years and which colors...they wouldn't give me an answer.
clayville
I'm not surprised they wouldn't divulge actual production numbers -- that seems fairly proprietary, and something they'd prefer to keep under their hats. But I bet the numbers would be larger if they'd put the darn things on their website to let people know they actually make them!
