daveinspain Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 I never expected them to be so good... I don't know what I was expecting... I was hoping it wasn't going to be skeletons playing music... Man, I can't tell you guys how good it was, best concert I have seen in a long time. They were all great, if you closed your eyes you would have thought it was 1970 something... Ian Gillan sounded great he hit all the notes no problem. Steve Morse was amazing what a great guitar player and showman. Bassist Roger Glover and drummer Ian Paice laid down a solid foundation for the band to do whatever they wanted and keyboardist Don Airey has sequencer fingers...:- I'll be posting some pics and posting some YouTube videos so stay tuned....
