Flight959 Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Its a process involving a very expensive machine that plek's the frets. The guitar is put in the machine and it moves up and down shaving the frets to exactly the same height up and down the fret board. It's like a highly acurate fret dress. I think the machine also cut's the nut to the exact measurement too. I think most of the custom shop and VOS guitars after 2006 have been pleck'd...
