Should I ebay them or try to alter them, or take the magnets out and modify a DiMarzio pickup (ceramic vs Alnico 2 magnets?), or what? :s Is it worth finding a junk guitar for $10 in a pawn shop and tossing these into it maybe? bluefoxicy Posted February 17, 2008 Author Share Posted February 17, 2008 haha... yeah I got some Sperzels for $50, satin chrome (instead of shiny chrome), actually doesn't clash with the shiny chrome hardware everywhere else. Locking tuners are great, even without the whammy; only wind the strings a bit (maybe 2 turns) so they don't snap off when tuning, and they don't slip!
